My homemade Bisquick mix as a base makes “TO DIE FOR” pancakes so easy to make. Seriously, there are few things in the cooking world that are easier than making these from scratch pancakes.

INGREDIENTS

Hands pour milk into a mixing bowl with flour on a granite countertop. A jar of flour with a scoop is nearby. Baking in progress.

To make from scratch pancakes you place 2 cups of homemade Bisquick mix into a bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups of milk, to begin with. Depending on how thick you like your pancakes you may end up progressively adding up to 2 cups of milk. Stir the batter until thoroughly mixed. I like my pancake batter about the consistency of cake batter.

Cooking The From Scratch Pancake:

Pancake batter cooking in a black skillet on a stovetop. A bowl of batter is nearby. The setting is a kitchen countertop.

Use a 1/4 cup measure to pour the batter onto your hot skillet. Cook on medium heat. When the top forms bubbles and they begin to pop you know it is time to flip the pancake.

Remove your pancake from the pan when both sides are golden brown.

Pancake with butter and syrup on wood plate, ornate fork beside. Warm tones, close-up, cozy breakfast vibe.

Serve the delicious and perfectly browned from scratch pancake warm with your choice of toppings. Some ideas are; syrups, nuts, fruits, butter or peanut butter.
