In addition to having many recipes for custom soils the Mittleider Gardening Course Book also has many “recipes” for fertilizing your plants based on what stage of growth they are in. This weekly feed fertilizer is used to provide the nutrients the plants need on a weekly basis.
This video is a revised recipe that gives the amount of micronutrients so you don't have to purchase the micronutrient package.
Weekly Feed Fertilizer Supplies
25 pounds of 16-16-16
4 pound of Epsom salt (Magnesium Sulfate)
10 ounces of Mittleider Magic Micro Mix (available at www.growfood.com)
3 ounces Borax
2 ounces Manganese Sulfate
4 ounces Zinc Sulfate
1/2 ounce Copper Sulfate
1/2 ounce Iron Sulfate
1/4 ounce Sodium Molybdate Dihydrate
2 cups Perlite (Optional)
5-gallon bucket with gamma lid
Directions

Begin making the fertilizer by combining all the ingredients.

Then mix with your gloved hand or a large paddle. Be sure it is mixed uniformly. If you have a cement mixer you can mix it together there.
It is now ready to add weekly to your garden.
