Creamy apricot fruit leather is a nutritious snack for my family. I enjoy having healthy, convenient options for snacking on the go. The most challenging part of this recipe is waiting for the dehydrator to finish. It truly comes together swiftly.
Creamy apricot fruit leather Directions:

1. Wash the apricots and remove their pits with a paring knife.

Blend 6 cups of apricot puree.

3. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 cup (8 ounces) of vanilla or plain yogurt in a blender and blend until it is nice and smooth. (If you like a sweeter leather you can add up to 2 tablespoons of sugar to the mix.)

4. Prepare the dehydrator fruit leather trays by brushing them with coconut oil. Then, pour the mixture on the trays in an even layer.
5. Dehydrate at 130 degrees for 10-12 hours.

6. Once it has thoroughly dried, cut the leather into serving-size pieces and wrap it in plastic wrap.

I then store it in an air-tight container and use it in the next 3-6 months.
