Creamy peach strawberry fruit leather is a healthy snack for my family and uses up some of my home-canned peaches. I love having healthy convenient foods available for on-the-go snacking. The hardest thing about this recipe is waiting for the dehydrator to do its job. This really does come together quickly.

Hands hulling strawberries with a tool over a wooden board. A colander of strawberries is visible on a granite countertop.

1. Wash the 1 pound of strawberries and remove their stems with a strawberry huller or a paring knife.

3. Place all fruit and 1 cup of vanilla or plain yogurt in a blender and blend until it is nice and smooth. (If you life a sweeter leather you can add up to 2 tablespoons of sugar to the mix.)

Orange liquid being poured onto a green round dehydrator tray on a speckled counter, forming a curve around a central white gear.

4. Prepare the dehydrator fruit leather trays by brushing them with coconut oil.

Hand smoothing orange batter on dehydrator trays on a speckled countertop. Circular pattern, kitchen setting, focused preparation.

5. Dehydrate at 130 degrees for 10-12 hours.

6. Once it has thoroughly dried, cut the leather into serving-size pieces and wrap it in plastic wrap.

Jar of peaches, ice cream tub, strawberries, and wrapped treats on a woven mat. A white appliance in the background on a granite surface.

I then store it in an air-tight container and use it in the next 3-6 months.
